Bailout Or VoteOut Small change, give ‘em another $700 BILLION. But not of our money. This crisis of bad ethics is not due to failing financial institutions as result of mortgage loans. Obama likes to say, “The current administration has been asleep at the wheel and allowed this to occur.” If he doesn’t know better Google can wise him up, quickly. As can Mac Ranger whose blog relates that it is Congressional Democrats who allowed the current meltdown. Mac does impeccable research, and he dug up a 2003 article from the NY Times about a proposal by President Bush to create an oversight agency for Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae. In the name-names department the top is criminal “Barney Frank”. Massachusetts Congressional Democrat Barney Frank, loving the “Barney Frank Bailout” swore Fannie and Freddie are no problem, that was back in 2003. Every bit as untrue then as 2008. ”These two entities — Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac — are not facing any kind of financial crisis,” stated Representative Barney, ranking Financial Services Committee Democrat. Frank claimed, ”The more people exaggerate these problems, the more pressure there is on these companies, the less we will see in terms of affordable housing.” Fast-forward to March ‘08, Rep. Frank came up with his own mortgage bailout plan, helping people affected by the non-Fannie and Freddie non-problems brought on by non-lack of mortgage industry oversight. Sure Frank is the worst. Republicans claim this mess isn’t on them. Sure it is. Who else has been running both branches of government for 6 years before this current pack of Democratic losers managed to get themselves elected? And there’s still no reform party in sight, just the samo, samo, liars asking to be elected. Each ejected, voted out party always claims to do better if given a chance and they are, and they don’t. 2005 brought Chuck Hagel up to bat who introduced S.190, “Federal Housing Enterprise Regulatory Reform Act of 2005″. This could also have established Fannie and Freddie over sight, set capital reserve levels for them to maintain. It could have prevented a large part of the current disaster. Hagel’s offering didn’t make it out of committee. If it had? Senate Democrats would have quickly put it to death right there in front of gawd and everybody on the Senate floor. So why were Democrats dead-set against reform? Even tho it has obviously been needed for more then 6 years? Here’s the punch line, kiddies, “Fixing the mortgage process would have made it justifiably more difficult for the NINJA crowd, unresponsible liars to make loans and those folk dear reader, are key constituencies. Those low-income voters were needed to game the system, “Everybody deserves to own a home,” said Frank. Much as we, I being one of we, want to lay this mess at the feet of liberals, there’s more blame. It goes all the way back to Bill Clinton rolling over for NAFTA. Why would that be? Simply put if people have jobs they can make their house payments. Foreign government lobbyist have bribed the criminals we voted to into turning away form American’s best interests. The Washington D.C. gang should be put on trail for Treason and executed like every other traitor to our country whose crimes take such a gigantic toll our lives of U.S. Citizens. That, dear reader, is the sum and substance of this mess. The rest if just chatter. Washington lobbyist, hired by big business here and foreign governments abroad paid the very people we trusted to do our business, to sell you out. We’re even bigger fools if we allow this system to buy more bad ARM’s and balloon loans with our hard earned dollars. Today, we have two more running for head of this country, the same two parties. The only question left is, “What does it take for you to vote both criminal laden parties out, sweep our house and start again? We can do it. To avoid that each will tell you these awful times are the faults of others. No. They are not. Your criminals are right there before you, in public view, every day. Lillpop In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina three years ago, liberal Democrats, in concert with the liberal media, spared no fire in excoriating President Bush and his administration for failing to respond quickly and more effectively to the Category Five killer storm. Particularly venomous liberals even went so far as to intimate that the Bush government moved slowly, and without appropriate urgency, only because most of Katrina’s victims were poor black people. According to hateful liberals still smarting from having their hides whipped into submission during consecutive presidential elections in 2000 and 2004, significant loss of black lives and property were not seen by the Republican president as sufficient reason to cut short his Crawford, Texas, vacation. Never before has a natural disaster of epic proportions been so brutally manipulated for political gain as when Democrats used Katrina to bludgeon President Bush in 2005. Until now, that is. With Hurricane Gustav threatening to eclipse the horrors of Katrina, idiotic liberals (redundancy alert!) are making headlines again, this time by thanking God for his timing of the storm, and the probability that it will interfere with the Republican Convention. Apparently “brilliant” liberals like former DNC Chairman Don Fowler and obesity clown Michael Moore believe that God is more than willing to kill a few thousand poor folks and make tens of thousands more of them homeless just to vent divine rage against fat cat Republicans. Michael Moore, whose layers of ugly fat could feed thousands of refugees were it not for the toxicity of his blubber, had this inspiring message: “I was just thinking, this Gustav is proof that there is a God in heaven,” Moore said, laughing. “To have it planned at the same time – that it would actually be on its way to New Orleans for day one of the Republican Convention, up in the Twin Cities – at the top of the Mississippi River..” Moore was joined in his stupid hate speech by another single-digit IQ liberal, that being former DNC Chairman Don Fowler who weighed in with concern for those in Gutstav’s path with these enlightened words: “The hurricane’s going to hit New Orleans about the time they start. The timing is — at least it appears now that it’ll be there Monday. That just demonstrates that God’s on our side. [Laughter] Everything’s cool.” Where, oh where, among those comments by “bleeding heart” liberals Fowler and Moore is the slightest empathy or concern for the thousands of poor Americans about to be devastated by Hurricane Gustav? Those who delight in gloating while watching liberals eat crow are hoping that Democrats and the media recover in time to witness the McCain swearing in ceremony on January 20, 2009. McCain’s brilliant counter punch to Obamamania pits a beautiful 40-something woman of integrity, intelligence, and warmth against a balding “old school” white guy with plagiarism as his only certifiable talent. Guess who best represents positive change in the upcoming election? Hint: It is not that US Senator from Delaware who has been on the public dole for 35 years, and who happens to be the poster child for the status quo. Rather, it is a young, bright female Governor who brings freshness and innocence to the fray at a time when most Americans are fed up with phony Messiahs and other creations of the liberal media who promise change, but who deliver only tired old rhetoric and simplistic double talk. The Republican Party as an organization that put George Bush into office, is done. So where to go from here? No doubt. He can do it b McCain is rebel enough to prove himself a financial conservative but stupid-John will squander his veto power on war, probably try to bomb Iran. After 4 years he won’t run for a second term. Clinton will however run again, this time against major contender Mark Warner who did the remarkable John F. Kennedy type speech last night. Smarter next time around Hillary will make Mark her Vice. When she’s termed out Mark Warner can likely hold the Presidency for the Dems and I’ll tell you why. Like them or hate them, do what you please, scream and mash your teeth till you need falsies, Bill Clinton shut down federal spending, pared back government size, Washington D.C. spending, made friends with the neighbors so we had decent foreign trade. He today regrets letting himself get bullied into NAFTA, did thumbs down on CAFTA when it came around. Many of us, and I’m one who loathes Nancy Pelosi but her biggest fundamental difference in life with the Clintons isn’t Hillary. It is Bill, that he caved on NAFTA which Nancy rightfully realizes is the worst thing to happen to this country in our lifetime other then George Bush’s War, Military Contracts to pay off friends & family which destroyed our job base and our tax-dollar economy by giving it all way to the chosen few. In short, hate Dems or not, Bill Clinton gave America the most financial growth of the past 300 years and he did it in a decade after inheriting that lousy military policy national debt from Mr. go-along-and-get-along, I don’t care so long as I’m Pres, never pulled my own strings anyway, Ronald McDonald clown-face Republican. I despise current Dems social policies but listening to Larry Kudlow (Kudlow & Company TV show) yesterday brought realization there actually are worse things, Republican Party monitory greed, determination to Rule us believing themselves to be the rightfully Elite Class. In the latest kerfuffel, former senator and presidential candidate John Edwards has admitted to an extramarital affair with one Rielle Hunter. Ever conscious of his image, Edwards made sure to point out that his tryst with Hunter happened while wife Elizabeth’s cancer was in remission. That is sure to endear the jerk to hypocritical liberals eager to point out that Republican Newt Gingrich dumped his wife while she was being treated in a hospital. However, other Democrats are wondering if Edwards should skip this convention, thereby saving the party loads of bad PR and embarrassment in an extremely tight election cycle. Hoever, there is a complication: Democrats have just agreed to let Slick Willie, the president, sex addict, and perjurer who gave us “I did not have sex with that woman,” address the conventioneers during prime time. On what basis, then, can the asses deny Edwards the right to make a fool of himself in front of party faithful and millions of television viewers? John Edwards has another distinct moral advantage over Slick Willie: He did not lie under oath! In fact, the rising star, now in descent, let it all hang out when he said, in part, the following: “If you want to beat me up - feel free. You cannot beat me up more than I have already beaten up myself. I have been stripped bare and will now work with everything I have to help my family and others who need my help.”* Given that naked mea culpa, I say kick Slick Willie off the stage and let John Edwards have his say. After all, a humble Democrat willing to be beaten up may be just what voters are lusting for in 2008! *
